Sunset View Cottage

Sunset View Cottage is a free standing, unique couple’s getaway. It is set on a small holding with spectacular views of the Southern Drakensberg mountain range looking directly at Hodgsons Peaks and the famous SANI PASS. There are also beautiful views over the neighbouring farmlands and the Umzimkulu River in the distance. The cottage is set in the natural landscape of Underberg. The design emphasis was drawn from the natural surrounding rock, indigenous grasses and wide-open spaces that provide stunning views. Enjoy evening drinks with the beautiful sunsets, romantic dinners on the patio or star gazing around the outdoor stone firepit.Load shedding is managed with an Inverter and backup generator so there is little disruption during your stay. From the back gate of the property there is access to the Umzimkulu River and weir where Underberg gets its water from. A picnic set and walking sticks are available in the cottage. Peace and tranquillity are guaranteed on this special property.
